Step 1 : Look at the Ones (O).
0 is SMALLER THAN 8 (you cannot subtract). Borrow 1 from Thousands (Th). Add the 1 to Ones (O) and subtract.
Step 2 : Subtract the Tens (T)
Step 3 : Subtract the Hundreds (H).
Step 4 : Subtract the Thousands (Th).
